Rice recently hosted a reception where scholarship recipients and their donors met one-on-one to demonstrate that every dollar awarded is money well spent. Professors, donors and community leaders gathered at Cohen House where the university’s leadership and students underscored the long-lasting impact of charitable giving for higher education. More than 600 endowed scholarships are awarded to Rice undergraduate students each year.
