As the only university named an Official Houston World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter, Rice hosted watch parties on campus and at the Ion, welcomed thousands of fans through the iconic Oranje Fanwalk and showcased the university’s research and innovation at Houston’s FIFA Fan Festival.
