A: One year and eight months.
Q: What is your favorite part about working for the university?
A: The fast-paced environment and seeing new faces every year.
Q: What do you want people to know about living in Houston?
A: There’s so much to explore. I’ve lived in the city for over 12 years and am still finding new things to do and yummy food spots.
Q: What do you do in your downtime?
A: Spend time with family, attend concerts and watch documentaries or “Real Housewives.”
Q: What’s the most exciting time of year for you as it relates to Rice?
A: The spring semester: Beer Bike, Rondelet, Moody Fest … there are so many large-scale events.
Q: What advice would you give to new employees?
A: Make connections outside of your department. Our colleagues across campus have unique roles, and we can learn so much from each other.
Q: What’s your favorite memory from your time with Rice?
A: Teaching Critical Thinking in Sexuality to our incoming undergraduate students. Shoutout to the SAFE Office!
