Rice’s Huff House gets into spooky spirit

Division of Development and Alumni Relations goes all out for H‘owl’oween

Haunted Huff

Rice University’s Huff House received a creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky makeover as the Office of Alumni Relations hosted “Haunted Huff,” a festive gathering that welcomed students for an evening of Halloween fun, friendly competition and community building.

Students arrived in costume to find the house transformed with seasonal decor, pumpkin painting stations, yard games, photo opportunities and plenty of Halloween treats. A spirited attendance competition added an extra layer of excitement, with residential colleges and the Graduate Student Association vying for a pizza party for the group with the strongest turnout. Haunted Huff also introduced students to the resources, programs and lifelong connections available through the Rice alumni network. By welcoming students to Huff House before they become alumni themselves, the event celebrated the sense of community that extends well beyond graduation.
