Rice Business earned five top 10 rankings in The Princeton Review's 2027 business school rankings, highlighted by its first-ever recognition for Best Campus Environment (No. 9), a return to the top 10 for Best MBA for Consulting (No. 8), Best MBA for Finance (No. 7) and Greatest Resources for Minority Students (No. 6). The school also landed the No. 6 national ranking for MBA@Rice, placing it among the nation's best online MBA programs.

"It's especially meaningful to be recognized for the strength of our campus, our community and our preparation of students for careers in finance and consulting," said Jeff Fleming, interim dean of Rice Business, which includes the Jones Graduate School of Business and the Virani Undergraduate School of Business. "Those rankings reflect the kind of learning environment we've worked intentionally to build - one that combines academic rigor with a beautiful campus and industry collaboration and faculty mentorship with meaningful career outcomes."

This recognition for the online program comes as Rice Business expands access to its nationally recognized online MBA with the creation of a new Early Career Track for recent graduates and professionals with up to three years of work experience.

Launched earlier this year, students in the Early Career Track complete the same STEM-designated MBA curriculum as experienced professionals while participating in career development programming tailored to emerging leaders. The program enables students to build leadership skills, expand their professional networks and gain business expertise sooner, all while benefiting from the flexibility of Rice's live online format and immersive residential experiences.

"Students today want a graduate business education that fits their lives without compromising quality or connection," said Barbara Bennett, professor of finance and academic director of MBA@Rice. "These rankings reflect what our students tell us every day: MBA@Rice delivers academic rigor alongside an engaged community, meaningful faculty relationships and collaborative learning that supports students at every stage of their careers."

The Princeton Review rankings are based on institutional data and extensive student surveys evaluating academic quality, faculty engagement, classroom experience, campus environment, career preparation and student satisfaction.

Applications for upcoming MBA@Rice cohorts, including the Early Career Track, are now open.
