Staff from every corner of campus came together June 3 to enjoy the annual Ice Cream Social hosted by Rice University’s Staff Council.
Leadership donned hairnets and gloves to serve scoops to hundreds of staff members in the West Servery as Sammy the Owl swooped by for pictures.
The event is one of Staff Council’s most popular and provides an opportunity to mix and mingle for the staff members of the numerous schools, institutes and departments at Rice who contribute to the work of faculty and success of students.
