’Tis the season of giving, and the Rice University Police Department (RUPD) is hosting its 13th annual Blue Santa Toy Drive in partnership with the Children’s Assessment Center (CAC) to sponsor 14 families.
Unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the RUPD station, Fondren Library, the campus post office, the BioScience Research Collaborative, the dean of engineering’s office in Duncan Hall or Rice Children’s Campus.
All donated items will be wrapped and hand-delivered to each family by RUPD officers. The CAC only accepts new, unopened items. The sponsored families’ wish list items can be found here.
The collection for the Blue Santa Toy Drive will run through Dec. 16, and the items will be dropped off in person by RUPD Dec. 18.
