For a leader looking to add to their portfolio, a coach interested in formal training toward an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential or a professional looking to make a career change to coaching, Rice University’s CoachRICE program is available this summer.
Offered by the Doerr Institute for New Leaders with administrative support from the Jones Graduate School of Business, CoachRICE offers a premier coaching certification program that applies a variety of teaching and learning methodologies to give participants an immersive experience and practical coaching skill set combined with the rigorous academic standards of Rice.
“CoachRICE continues to constitute a world-class offering for people who want to ensure they have an exemplary foundation in leadership coaching methodologies,” said Bernie Banks, director of the Doerr Institute. “The program and its faculty are at the cutting edge of skill development. CoachRICE is a wonderful example of how the university’s values of responsibility, integrity, community and excellence are brought to life through stellar pedagogy and behavioral role modeling.”
The 105-hour program offers online and in-person options and is accredited with the ICF. After successful completion of the program, participants earn a Doerr Institute certificate of completion to include in their ICF application for an Associate Certified Coach credential.
Registration is open through June 14.
