A: 26 years.

A: Service to the students and hearing their life stories.

Q: What do you want people to know about living in Houston?

A: A great city with many opportunities.

Q: What do you do in your down time?

A: Spend quality time with family and friends and volunteering at my church.

Q: What's your favorite spot on campus to show to someone?

A: Shepherd School of Music.

Q: What's the most exciting time of year for you as it relates to Rice?

A: Commencement.

Q: What's the one thing that makes Rice special?

A: Location within the Med Center...easy access.

Q: If you could be Sammy The Owl for a day, what would you do?

A: Probably hug everybody I came in contact with.

Q: How would you describe your experience as a Rice employee?

A: The abundance of relationships I've formed and the knowledge I've gained.

Q: Where do you see Rice in 25 years?

A: Wow... I would say continuing meeting the needs of the community by whatever means necessary with enhancements and building up inside and outside the hedges.

Q: Describe Rice University in four words or less.

A: Unity, community, family-oriented.
