Fresh off its first visit to Houston in Fall 2023, The Concert Truck will return to Houston for more shows with students from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music March 5-7.
The talents of Rice’s world-class musicians will be on full display aboard this 16-foot box truck that’s been converted into a fully functioning mobile concert hall, complete with lights, sound system and piano. And to put a true Texas spin on things, the rolling concert venue will make a stop at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for two performances March 6 in addition to shows at Alta Arts March 5 and the Ion March 7.

Free admission.
March 6
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo - Kroger Gate
10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Free rodeo admission until 12 p.m.; afterwards, grounds tickets are $20 per adult and $10 per child.
March 7
Ion - Ion Plaza
4:30 and 6 p.m.
Free admission.
