Rice nominated for Best Places to Work award by Houston Business Journal

survey

Rice University has been nominated for the Houston Business Journal’s Best Places to Work awards.

Take the survey

This annual competition honors organizations that create exceptional workplaces. To support Rice’s nomination, the Rice Human Resources team is asking employees to complete a short survey providing feedback about working at Rice.

Employees will receive an email from Quantum Workplace with instructions on completing the employee opinion survey, wrote Elaine Britt, executive director of human resources, in an email.

Britt offered tips for completing the survey:

  • Please answer honestly and take your time (it should take about 10 minutes to complete).
  • This is a confidential survey conducted by an outside firm, so employees’ identities are completely secure and will not be released to Rice.
  • At the end of the survey, there is a section for optional written comments. Please note that Rice will be able to view some of these comments, so if employees wish to remain anonymous, do not provide any identifying information.
  • Don’t forward the survey email to coworkers or those outside Rice. Each person will receive a unique survey code to prevent multiple responses.

The deadline for completing the survey is July 12. If employees do not receive the email by the end of the day June 14, check junk, spam or clutter folders. The email will come from bestplaces@quantumworkplace.com. Several reminders will be sent during the survey duration.
