Rice University President Reginald DesRoches and his wife Paula welcomed members of the Rice United Way campaign committee to their home for a reception to thank them for their efforts in support of the university’s annual campus initiative, which continues through the end of March.
United Way officials, Rice campaign committee members and heads of campus campaign divisions noshed on delicious morsels and beverages while President DesRoches encouraged the Rice community to participate in the 2023-24 campaign, “Owl In For Houston.”
The campaign is currently at 78% of its $250,000 goal; Rice employees and retirees are encouraged to make their own contributions by visiting unitedway.rice.edu.
