The Rice baseball team held its annual Fan Fest Jan. 28, inviting Owls supporters to meet the squad before the season begins.
The event offered fans a unique opportunity to engage with the 2024 team. Attendees met the players during an exclusive autograph session, captured memorable moments with photo opportunities and activities and explored the state-of-the-art turf playing surface at Reckling Park.
The 2024 Owls will kick off their 31-game home schedule Feb. 16 with a three-game series against perennial NCAA Regional participant, the University of Notre Dame. The nonconference lineup includes a weekend series against crosstown rival Houston Christian University as well as weeknight clashes with Sam Houston State University, Prairie View A&M University, the University of Houston, the University of the Incarnate Word, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Lamar University and Texas Southern University.
Rice begins its inaugural season of American Athletic Conference play against Tulane University March 22 at Reckling Park.
