Rice’s Center for Civic Leadership hosted its annual spring showcase April 4, under the umbrella of the university’s 2023 Moody Experience events and celebrations.

Held in PCF Tent #3, this year’s showcase (themed “X = Social Impact”) provided an opportunity for Rice students, faculty and staff to learn about CCL-sponsored-and-partnered social justice initiatives from student leaders and their mentors. Attendees from all corners of Rice came out to show their support, as did community mentors from CCL partner organizations who were thanked by students and CCL leadership for their hand-in-hand work with students to enact positive change both on and off campus. Several students were also presented awards for their work toward social justice initiatives in the past year.
