The Rice University Student Center hosted the Student Activities Fair at the Rice Memorial Center on Sept. 1 as part of the 2023 Weeks of Welcome (WOW) series celebrating the new academic year at Rice.
The fair acclimated Owl students to the many diverse student clubs at Rice for those looking to get more involved on campus.
Beginning Aug. 19, the WOW series has also featured events like Welcome Back Day to start the new school year, Owl Fest to kick off the year for Rice Athletics, Owls after Dark for some late-night games and much more. The WOW series will conclude with two a cappella auditions for the Rice Philharmonics on Sept. 5 and 9 in the Private Dining Room at Jones College and a RiceApps Welcome Party at 6 p.m. Sept. 6 in the Liu Idea Lab for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Cambridge Office Building.
