The Rice University Police Department hosted National Night Out at the Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center Oct. 5. Attendees enjoyed free food, drinks, games and the chance to dunk a police officer in a tub of water.
Started in 1984, National Night Out is an annual event that promotes police-community partnerships to make the country’s communities safer, better places to live.
