Rice Owls dusted off their Stetsons and cowboy boots and dressed in their Western best to celebrate Rice Night at the Rodeo March 5. The evening, which included traditional rodeo activities and a performance by the Zac Brown Band, featured Rice President Reggie DesRoches - who was joined by University Associate Paula DesRoches - dropping his cowboy hat to officially begin the calf scramble.
