Ugochi Emenaha, associate director of the Masters of Art in Teaching Program in Rice University’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies, won the Multicultural Children’s Publication Award for her book “Beautiful” from the National Association for Multicultural Education. The organization provides national and international recognition of individuals, groups and institutions that make outstanding contributions toward multicultural education, educational equity and social justice.
