Delegates from the Council of the European Union Working Party on Transatlantic Relations visited Washington, D.C., and Houston the week of April 17. On April 20, the group visited Rice’s Baker Institute for Public Policy to discuss the green energy transition, U.S-Mexico border issues, migration, trade, innovation and the space industry. The delegates identified Houston as a location of interest due to the city’s energy industry, technology, academics, EU investments and EU-member consular network.
