HOUSTON – (June 7, 2023) – Tomorrow, June 8, Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) Director Evelyn N. Wang will visit Rice University to make a commercialization announcement and host “ARPA-E on the Road: Houston,” an event from 1-5 p.m. to spotlight local ARPA-E awardees and share information about work underway at ARPA-E.
Wang will be joined by Rice University President Reginald DesRoches (virtual address), Rice Vice President for Research Ramamoorthy Ramesh, Quaise Co-Founder and CEO Carlos Araque, Quidnet CEO Joe Zhou and Onboard Dynamics CEO Rita Hansen. The event will also feature presentations from ARPA-E program directors, fellows and technology-to-market advisers.
