The Rice volleyball and swimming teams celebrated the careerlong contributions of their seniors over the weekend while besting their opponents.
On the court at Tudor Fieldhouse on Sunday, the Owls claimed a 3-0 victory over Louisiana Tech University with contributions from seniors Anota Adekunle (fifth year), Satasha Kosteckly, Ellie Bichelmeyer and Carly Graham (fifth year). At the Rice Competition Pool on Friday, senior Zoe Spitz led the way to a 144-57 dual victory over Tulane University by breaking the school record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1 minute, 55.57 seconds, while fellow seniors Adalyn Armistead, Shannon Campbell, Chloe Corbitt, Maddy Howe, Kate Jablonski, Sini Koivu, Ahalya Lettenberger, Lauren McDougall, Virginie Qian and Sophie Reilly were also recognized.
