Sophomore Max Fiedler had eight points and six rebounds to become the first player in Rice men's basketball history to record 300 points, 250 rebounds and 100 assists in a season as the Owls fell to Ohio University 65-64 March 19 in the first round of the College Basketball Invitational in Daytona Beach, Florida. Rice finished the season 16-17.
