Eduardo Salas , the Allyn R. and Gladys M. Cline Professor and chair of Rice’s Department of Psychological Sciences, was a finalist for the 2022 George R. Terry Book Award for his manuscript, “Teams That Work: The Seven Drivers of Team Effectiveness.” He co-authored the book with Scott Tannenbaum, president of The Group for Organizational Effectiveness. The award is granted annually to the book judged to have made the most outstanding contribution to the global advancement of management knowledge during the last two years.
