Former VP Mike Pence to speak at Rice’s Baker Institute May 10

HOUSTON – (May 3, 2022) – Former Vice President Mike Pence will discuss U.S. energy policy and a path to increasing energy security at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy May 10. The invitation-only event will be open to the media and will be webcast.

What : A presentation titled “Advancing American Energy Security and Independence.”

Who: Mike Pence, the 48th vice president of the United States.

Baker Institute Director Edward Djerejian will provide welcoming remarks.

When : 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10. Pence’s remarks will be approximately 30 minutes. He will not be available for interviews. Media must arrive by 4:15 p.m.

Where : Doré Commons, James A. Baker III Hall at Rice University, 6100 Main St., Houston.
