Rice alumna Shannon Walker and crewmate Kate Rubins, aboard the International Space Station, joined a conversation with students in Houston, Scotland and Ecuador on April 8 during a downlink provided by NASA and organized by the Rice Space Institute. Walker, a native Houstonian who earned three degrees at Rice, and Rubins answered students’ questions about living and working in space.
