Rice will recognize those who have served in the United States military, including the veterans among faculty, staff and students, at its 19th annual Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 in Ray Courtyard.
Gayle Schroeder, academic program administrator in the Department of Bioengineering, is this year’s honoree. The ceremony will feature remarks by Carl Salazar, executive director and founder of Expedition Balance; Rice MBA student Reid Schrodel, a Navy veteran; and Brown College senior Anna Frey, a Naval ROTC midshipman.
The ceremony will also be livestreamed. A link will be shared closer to the event.
