The June 5 opening reception for “Brie Ruais: Movement at the Edge of the Land” at Rice’s Moody Center for the Arts featured a brief introduction by the artist, Ruais, followed by a preview of an original dance by choreographer Oliver Halkowich.
Catch the full performance June 12 at the Moody’s Dimensions Variable, which will also include a hands-on workshop by ClayHouston, music on the patio and an ice cream truck outside. The Moody’s galleries will be open and, as always, free to the public. (Photos by Katharine Shilcutt)
