The Europeans took home the trophy in the 2021 Mini World Cup held Nov. 20. The annual soccer tournament between four teams — Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe, each fielding players from across the Rice community — is hosted by Rice’s Office of International Students and Scholars (and co-sponsored by the Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center and the Graduate Student Association).
