A new location for the annual Study Abroad Photo Contest saw the yearly exhibition inside Brochstein Pavilion Feb. 28, where members of the Rice community mingled over refreshments and postcard-worthy images from students’ most recent Rice-sponsored trips across the world.
Prizes were awarded to the best images in a variety of categories, including “Everyday Life” and “#RiceOwlsAbroad.” Bridget Gorman, dean of undergraduates, gave opening remarks at the exhibition, which featured 120 entries from 37 students. Following the opening exhibition, the photos were moved to the Ley Student Center, where they will remain on display through March. (Photos by Jeff Fitlow)
