Rice United Way Campaign is underway

United Way

Rice kicked off its annual United Way campaign last week and is already nearly two-thirds of the way to its $250,000 goal, with $161,120 raised so far.

The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies has hit 75% participation. The School of Social Sciences leads campus with the most funds raised at $22,000, and the School of Engineering leads with the largest number of donors, 24.

Pledges may be made by automatic payroll deduction, spread over all of 2021’s paychecks, via Esther. To give by check or credit card, or to designate any pledge — including a payroll pledge — to benefit a specific United Way agency, geographic area or community program or priority, Rice donors may use the pledge form available on the Rice United Way Campaign website, unitedway.rice.edu, where more information on the campaign is available.
