Rice United Way Campaign meets goal

United Way

At the end of the seventh week, Rice’s annual United Way campaign has met the university’s $250,000 goal.

The offices of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and Public Affairs have hit 100% participation. The School of Humanities leads campus with the most funds raised at $24,552. Development and Alumni Relations has the largest number of donors, 61.

Pledges may be made by automatic payroll deduction, spread over all of 2021’s paychecks, via Esther. To give by check or credit card, or to designate any pledge — including a payroll pledge — to benefit a specific United Way agency, geographic area or community program or priority, Rice donors may use the pledge form available on the Rice United Way Campaign website, unitedway.rice.edu, where more information on the campaign is available.
