Lunchtime reception in the Multicultural Center welcomes new associate director Nwaogu

Roland Smith, associate vice provost for diversity and inclusion and adjunct professor of education and sociology, introduced the newest member of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) at a lunchtime reception Jan. 23: Ijeoma Nwaogu, who is now serving as the associate director of the Multicultural Center within the ODI. Over a casual buffet luncheon, Smith and Nwaogu discussed the history of the Multicultural Center, anticipated improvements and renovations to the basement-level space in the Rice Memorial Center and a host of upcoming events within the ODI.
