Full house for first Student Association session of the year

Students enjoyed fried chicken and other snacks before settling into the first SA session of the new year.

A standing room-only crowd of students filled Farnsworth Pavilion Aug. 20 for the first Student Association (SA) session of the new academic year. SA President Ariana Engles, a Lovett College junior, called the meeting to order and discussed a broad array of topics including a revamped SA website, a new bike safety video made in collaboration with the Graduate Student Association and plans for a banquet celebrating the 100th anniversary of the SA, which was formed in 1918 and held its first official meeting Jan. 25, 1919.
