Rice celebrates diverse cultures

On Feb. 17, nine international and cultural student organizations and five independent student groups participated in the annual Rice University Graduate Student Association Culture Night. More than 800 people from the Rice community enjoyed food, displays and performances that highlighted the cultures of these different groups. Every year, these groups succeed in bringing together people of different cultural backgrounds to collectively celebrate the diversity intrinsic to the strong, creative and unique graduate student population at Rice.
