This annual fundraiser for the Girl Scouts recognizes individuals who have made a significant difference in their communities and in the future of young girls.

“Ping has been a long-time supporter of Girl Scouts and has used her personal and professional success to make a positive investment in our community,” said Mary Vitek, CEO of the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council. “For that she is truly an inspiration to our girls, volunteers and supporters and we are grateful to recognize her as our 2015 honoree.”

Keynote speaker for the luncheon will be American aid worker Jessica Buchanan and her husband, Erik Landemalm. In 2011, Buchanan was kidnapped by Somali pirates and survived a 93-day ordeal before being rescued by the Navy’s SEAL Team Six.

The luncheon begins at 11 a.m.  For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/nwk2aqt.
