Stephen Klineberg, co-director of Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research and a sociology professor, will release findings from the 2014 Kinder Institute Houston Area Survey at a downtown luncheon April 24.
The 33rd annual study covers such topics as Houstonians’ current economic outlooks, quality-of-life assessments and perspectives on the region’s demographic transformations.
Those not attending the ticketed annual luncheon can tune to 88.7 FM at noon April 24 to hear Klineberg discuss the 2014 survey findings on Houston Public Media’s “Houston Matters,” hosted by Craig Cohen. For more information, visit www.houstonmatters.org.
Immediately following the luncheon at the Hilton Americas hotel, 1600 Lamar St., Klineberg will discuss highlights from the survey during a press conference at 1:45 p.m. in Meeting Room 230 of the hotel.
