Take Houston Business Journal’s 2013 Best Places to Work survey

Every day Rice employees help make the university a great place to work, and they can help Rice be recognized as one of Houston’s best places to work for the eighth year in a row by participating in the Houston Business Journal’s (HBJ) annual survey.

The online survey begins July 29, and Rice employees have until Aug. 30 to share their thoughts about working here.

Very few Houston employers achieve this honor for eight years in a row, and Rice’s recruiters know the value of this award. Highly qualified candidates want to be connected with a recognized employer and the many target employers that continue to make the list.

One of Rice’s recent new hires had this to say about the influence of the university’s status as a Best Place to Work:

“When I was in the process of choosing a new employer, Rice University was top on my list. I’d always heard excellent things, not only for academics but also for employment. The fact that Rice received consecutive recognition as a Best Place to Work stood out to me and provided a very good first impression. I have now been employed with Rice for nearly nine months, and in my time here I can truly attest that Rice University holds true to their reputation and is the Best Place to Work!”

Employees can help the university’s recruitment efforts by participating in the survey to keep Rice on the list.
