Register for RQI Summer Research Colloquium

The 27th annual Rice Quantum Institute Summer Research Colloquium will take place at Duncan Hall Aug. 2.

This all-day event will feature presentations by Rice students and postdoctoral researchers about their latest discoveries. Subjects include advances in photonics, nanotechnology, bioengineering, solar energy, condensed matter, atomic physics and more.

The colloquium will include talks, a poster session for undergraduate students and a poster session for graduate students and postdocs, with prizes for the top entries. Abstracts for poster presentations will be accepted until July 26, according to organizers.

The colloquium is open to all, but preregistration is required. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Duncan Hall’s McMurtry Auditorium.
