NuMat Technologies, the 2012 Rice Business Plan Competition from Northwestern University, announced that it has closed a $2 million seed round led by RBPC investors/judges The GOOSE Group of Texas and the OWL Investment Group. This brings the nanotech startup’s total funding to $2.4 million.
