Rice School of Architecture gets high marks for student satisfaction

Students at the Rice School of Architecture give it high marks in a satisfaction survey.

The Rice School of Architecture placed third for student satisfaction in a survey of the nation’s architecture schools by DesignIntelligence. The survey registered opinions from 2,151 students working toward bachelor’s or master’s degrees in architecture. Among the top five schools, only Rice earned responses that were either “excellent” (85 percent) or “above average” (15 percent).

Of the Rice students who responded to the survey, 96 percent indicated they feel they will be well-prepared for their profession upon graduation.

Harvard University topped the list, followed by the University of Texas at Austin.

Rice also ranked third among the top 10 undergraduate programs in architecture according to firms.
