April 9 RiceFest offers chance to talk benefits

Rice University faculty and staff are invited to learn more about university benefits at RiceFest April 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Grand Hall of Rice Memorial Center. Providers of health care and other benefits available to Rice employees will offer information and answer questions.

RiceFestRiceFest will showcase benefit providers during the open enrollment period and educate faculty and staff about benefits. RiceFest also provides Rice employees with useful information about services and opportunities available within the university as well as assistance provided by off-campus organizations.

Staff from Human Resources will be available to answer questions regarding coverage and the open enrollment process. Handouts, health screenings, free massages, promotional gifts and door prizes will be available.

RiceFest is organized by the Staff Advisory Committee, which provides a venue for addressing issues of concern to faculty and staff and acts as a means of communication between the faculty and staff and the university administration.

Open enrollment for Rice University health and welfare benefits is from April 8 to 26 and can be completed online via Esther.
