Brown College junior Catherine Yuh took part in the 2012 U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championship in Longview, Texas, this summer. Rice’s Goliard Scholarship funded Yuh’s travel and allowed her to serve on the crew of a pilot racing competitively in the championship. Rice Public Affairs provided the banner for the basket.
