McMurtry College junior Jacklyn Kelty has been selected by Focus the Nation as one of 20 rising clean-energy leaders from colleges and universities across the country to spend one week on Oregon’s Mount Hood. The participants will explore skills needed to stay committed to clean energy throughout their careers.

Harpist and Shepherd School of Music alumna Megan Levin ’05 won the 37^th annual Houston Symphony League’s Ima Hogg Competition June 2 at Rice University’s Stude Concert Hall. This competition identifies and rewards excellence in young musicians between the ages of 13 and 30 who are pursuing a career in music.
