Rice’s United Way campaign officially under way
Rice University officially launched its United Way 2011-12 campaign Sept. 9 as members of the Rice community joined more than 2,000 attendees at Minute Maid Park at the United Way of Greater Houston’s campaign kickoff. Rice has made an impressive start, already raising $22,683 toward its $150,000 campaign goal. With 18 weeks remaining in the campaign, the Office of Finance leads the campus in funds raised with $5,145, and the Public Affairs Division leads in participation, with 19 percent. |
