Grad students entering dragon boat races Saturday |

| A team from Rice’s Graduate Student Association will compete in Saturday’s dragon boat races on Buffalo Bayou near Allen’s Landing. Twenty graduate students will paddle a Hong Kong-style BuK dragon boat while two others serve as steersperson and drummer. The races will go from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are part of the 11th annual Houston Dragon Boat Festival. Pictured is last year’s team, which was led by bioengineering graduate student Hubert Tseng (last person on the right in the front row). Tseng will serve as captain again this year. |
