| Basketball greats, from left, Don Chaney, David Lattin and Elvin Hayes spoke at Keck Hall Jan. 26 as part of a panel discussion titled “Final Four Revisited.” The event was organized by the Department of Kinesiology’s Sport Management Program. Before going to the NBA, Hayes and Chaney were teammates at the University of Houston and played in two Final Four tournaments. Lattin, who was born in Houston, played for Texas Western University (now the University of Texas at El Paso) when it won the NCAA championship in 1966.
