‘Wine Around Texas’ comes to Houston Farmers Market at Rice June 16

The Houston Farmers Market is hosting “Wine Around Texas,” a celebration of wineries in the Houston area, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. June 16 at the Rice Stadium parking lot.

Among the award-winning vineyards represented will be Messina Hof, Haak and Piney Woods. Farmers market shoppers will be able to sample from dozens of varieties of wines, which will be sold by the glass and by the bottle.

A silent auction will be held during the event to benefit Houston Farmers Market.
