Zipcars memberships now available for departments

Rice’s Zipcar car-sharing service is now available to university departments.

For a $100 annual membership fee, a department can register to access Rice’s Zipcar Volvo S40 and Toyota Prius for university-related business.

The cars are located in the Lovett Lot near the Cohen House and can be reserved online for $7 an hour or $60 a day. Car usage fees will be charged to PCards. Service includes gas, insurance and 180 free miles for every reservation.
