Online open enrollment for benefits ends May 1

Employees have one more week to complete their open enrollment for benefits; the open enrollment period ends at 11:59 p.m. May 1.

Information about the process is included in the personal open enrollment packets distributed this week via campus mail. Information is also available on the open enrollment Web site, http://people.rice.edu/benefits.cfm?doc_id=8601.

Employees need to complete enrollment only if they have changes in benefit selections or if they wish to continue or begin a medical or dependent care spending account.

Employees who have no changes and who do not participate in flexible spending accounts do not need to complete enrollment online; their benefit selections will automatically roll over and remain the same.
