The Rice women’s track and field team won the Conference USA Indoor Championships that concluded Feb. 23 in Birmingham, Alabama. It was the program’s fourth C-USA indoor title and first since 2009.

The Owls’ 110 points were seven more than second-place Middle Tennessee State University. Freshman Grace Forbes led all women with 20 points by winning both the mile and 3,000-meter run, and coach Jim Bevan was named C-USA Indoor Coach of the Year for the third time in his career.
